Planning Your Escape Room Fundraiser
The Space
We travel to you and set up in buildings with at least 3 separate rooms. Any Town Hall, rink, or school works perfectly
The Escape Rooms
There are three different escape rooms that can all be set up and run at the same time, starting every hour on the hour. It takes one and a half hours to set up for the escape room fundraiser. It then takes 40 minutes for groups to complete the escape rooms and 20 minutes to reset all three rooms for the next groups.
Pricing
The total price per escape room per person is $25. Level Up Escapes takes $10 and your fundraiser takes $15.
The Groups
2-10 people per room at a time (larger group numbers of up to 12 people can be accommodated depending on whether or not there is enough space in the room that the escape room is set up in).
Groups are all made up of only people who booked the escape room as a group, no group will be in the escape room with people who they did not come with.
Groups with kids
Kids under 15 must be accompanied by at least one adult.
The Marketing
I create the poster and the write-up and send you a digital copy that can be used for your advertising. I will also do my own advertising on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. I also create a shareable booking sheet using Google Docs.
Volunteers
You will need to arrange for one volunteer to be present at the event at all times to greet customers, take payment and unlock and lock the venue
Customer Payments
Payment in advance is not required, however this does depend on how you want to handle payment, if you would like to take payments in advance through your own etransfer or payment methods that is an option. Payment is handled entirely by you and your volunteers.
Paying Level Up Escapes
Level Up Escapes can be paid at the end of the event through cash, etransfer, or cheque.
Please note that mailing a cheque is not an accepted payment method. Payment must be made as soon as the event has ended.
A $100 organizing fee is due along with payment
Minimum Event Bookings
The fundraiser must have a minimum of 75 people booked in total a week before the event
The Scheduling
Escape room fundraisers are usually set up on weekends, Saturdays are the best day to run a fundraiser, and depending on demand in the lead-up to the fundraiser we can add a Friday night or a Sunday.
The Hours
Saturday: 1pm-8pm with the last escape rooms ending at 9pm
